 There are some important historical facts about Indian subcontinent from 1300 to 1947.  1300 - 1526: Late Medieval Period - 1300-1526: Delhi Sultanate:   - Tughlaq Dynasty (1320-1413): Known for ambitious but failed projects, such as the transfer of the capital from Delhi to Daulatabad.   - Sayyid Dynasty (1414-1451): Established after the decline of the Tughlaq dynasty.   - Lodi Dynasty (1451-1526): The last dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate. Early Medieval Period:  Establishment of the First Muslim State: 8th - 10th Century - 711 AD: The Umayyad Caliphate's general, Muhammad bin Qasim, invades Sindh and establishes Muslim rule in the region. This marks the first significant Muslim presence in India. 10th - 12th Century - 1001-1025: Mahmud of Ghazni invades northern India multiple times. - 1175-1192: Muhammad of Ghor invades India and defeats Prithviraj Chauhan at the Second Battle of Tarain in 1192, establishing the groundwork for Muslim rule in northern India.  Establishment of the Delhi Sultanate - 1206: Qutb-ud-din Aibak, a former slave and general of Muhammad of Ghor, declares himself Sultan of Delhi, establishing the Mamluk (Slave) Dynasty and founding the Delhi Sultanate. Tipu Sultan

Tipu Sultan, also known as the Tiger of Mysore, was a ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore in Southern India during the late 18th century. He is remembered for his resistance against British colonial expansion in India. Tipu Sultan modernized his army, introduced innovations in military technology, and implemented administrative reforms. He also fought several wars against the British East India Company, most notably the Anglo-Mysore Wars, where he fiercely resisted British attempts to annex his kingdom. Despite his efforts, Tipu Sultan was eventually defeated and killed in the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War in 1799. Tipu Sultan was a prominent Indian Muslim ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore based in South India. He was known as the “Tiger of Mysore” and was a  pioneer of rocket artillery. Tipu Sultan expanded the use of Mysorean rockets, commissioned military manuals, and utilized these rockets in battles against British forces during the Anglo-Mysore Wars.
